About Heather Jacobs

Heather Jacobs is a creative professional with over a decade's experience in writing, editing, and content creation. 

Heather began reading at a very young age and was often seen on the playground with her head buried in a book. Her love of the written word then manifested into writing for herself. English and History quickly became her favorite subjects, which is great if you want to write compelling and believable stories.

After graduating from The Art Institute of California - San Diego with a B.S. in Media Arts and Animation, she began working in the film and video game industry as a Compositing Artist. She has worked for studios such as Sony Computer Entertainment America and Blue Sky Studios. 

Growing tired of the lack of job security in the VFX field, she moved on to working for technology companies as a Technical Writer. Since that journey began, she has taken on roles in Marketing, Instructional Design, and eLearning Development. On the side, she writes stories and a little bit of poetry.

Heather currently lives and works in Omaha, NE.
